Why go to a bartending school?
The Bartending School of San Antonio offers a course that will effectively and efficiently train you on the basics of bartending and mixology. Our goal is to provide you with the skills needed to begin working in a real bar right out of school.

What makes your facilities the best in Texas?
Our school is very unique in that it is set up like a real bar environment. Learning how to tend bar in such a setting enables students to smoothly and easily make the transition from practicing in the classroom to working in a real bar. We also keep our classes small. Allowing no more than 7 students per class gives each student the opportunity to set up and break down his or her own bar station. Having your own bar station without having to take turns with other students in an overcrowded classroom gives you more time to practice mixing drinks behind the bar with less distractions. You can learn more in less time.

What is T.A.B.C. certification?

This class covers the laws concerning the sale or service of alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated customers, as well as techniques to prevent such sales.

What is flash and flair?
Customers love to see smooth, fluid, confident motions while you make their drinks, and you will love the tips!

Why do I need to know the history of all this other stuff? Isn't it enough that I just learn how to make the drinks?
A good bartender knows what he or she is selling. Knowing what various spirits taste like, how they are made, where they come from and when and to whom they are popular will enable you to sell more. The more you sell, the more money you can make.
